"I must admit, I was exposed to the world of food blogging, only a few months ago, other then for 'gluten free' blogs. As I read more and more cooking and baking blogs, I fell in love with this medium. I sat at the computer reading and learning and the hours disappeared. I know this will be time consuming but I have a feeling, I will become a better cook because of it. I see it as a privilege to join the community of bloggers and I hope that I will be able to offer something of value through my sharing. I have learned that every choice, I have made, has had an impact on me and enriched my daily life. Wrong choices have taught me to make better ones and I must value these as much as those that I saw an immediate reward from. I see cooking as a way to be creative and to demonstrate love. Good food brings instantaneous reward or disappointment. I think we have to see each recipe as a challenge. From the challenge, we grow, and become more diversified cooks. Now, where do I start? I want to share some of the recipes my family has learned to love. Right now, we are empty nesters and my cooking is done for hubby. He is also my challenge to cook for since he is on a gluten free diet. Although, this is not distinctly a gluten free blog, I do want to share GF recipes as well as those for the 'normal' eaters. My guess is that most of the recipes will be GF (gluten free) or give a GF alternative.
