Crystal was raised in Southern California, where she was exposed to a style of cooking that fused unique Asian culture and traditional American and Caribbean influences to create flavorful masterpieces. From early on, Crystal knew she enjoyed creating food to please her friends and family. Taking advice from her grandfather, Crystal decided to make sure she would like working in a professional kitchen, and she applied and started working at various restaurants as a prep cook, line cook, grill cook and pastry chef. Levy's Restaurant, located in the Staple Center, was where her cooking began. Crystal didn't just like it, she loved it, and her professional career was born. Critical Need Jobs
